In 2022, at 31 years old, my life hit rock bottom—my facial chondrosarcoma had recurred. I had tried radiotherapy and chemotherapy before, but neither worked, and the tumor kept growing. The doctor said that another surgery would most likely leave me disfigured, which was a devastating blow.
